yes you can .

when you get your interline ticket in your respective ticket office for airline employees. get the no. the airline your going to take as interline. in AA their is a no to call for non revenue ticket holders. they can tell you which flight is available. and they can put you on the list.

There is a thing called a bereavement fare. Many but not all airlines offer one. You may be asked to give some type of proof but not usually. My experience is that these fares are not all that good and you would be better off to look for a cheaper ticket on the net. Good Luck in your search.

To answer the question "I am looking for discount airline tickets" you are going to have to dig deep. of course you can find great deals from travel agents, and some promiment travel websites.

However, the secrets you are talking about involve getting deals from a current or former airline employee. That is how people fly for so cheap, and it is the exact method that I have used.

A guy named Tony Morrison can hook you up with his method, that is what I would suggest. That is how I have gotten some great deals.
