to bad insane gas prices are making cheap tickets hard to find, 2 years ago i could buy a round trip ticket from Dallas to Seoul Korea or Tokyo for 800ish bucks, now its doubled in that time

within a 3 minutes walk, you can easily find them.

only caveat…you're buying a voucher, so if a fuel charge is hiked, you might have to pay the hike, even if you bought the voucher before the hike.

I ended up switching to Mantatsu/ Galaxy Travel.
I can't pull up their English site, but I do have the email for their English speaking agent. (I don't think I should post his address…)

My friend went to Shanghai with them, and he actually cancelled and rebooked her flight when a cheaper option came up.

I prefer travel agents. There is a travel agency in Japan called H.I.S. and they get really good deals.

Your best bet is a travel agent. My friend contacted a travel agent in Japan and got a round trip ticket to New York for $600. I was shocked.
