Roderick David “Rod” Stewart, CBE (born 10 January 1945) is a British singer-songwriter born and raised in London, England and currently residing in Epping. He is of Scottish and English lineage.
With his distinctive raspy singing voice, Stewart came to prominence in the late 1960s and early ’70s with The Jeff Beck Group and then faces. He launched his solo career in 1969 with his debut album An Old Raincoat Won’t Ever Let You Down (US: The Rod Stewart Album). His work with The Jeff Beck Group and Faces proved to be influential on the formation of the heavy metal and punk rock genres, respectively. Both bands were also pioneers of blues-rock.
In 1999, Stewart was diagnosed with thyroid cancer, for which he underwent surgery in July 2000. Besides being a major health scare, the resulting surgery also threatened his famous voice, and he had to re-learn how to sing. Since then he has been active in raising funds for The City of Hope Foundation charity to find cures for all forms of cancer, especially those affecting children.
On 11 October 2005, Stewart received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 6801 Hollywood Blvd. (Star number 2093) On 18 April and 19 April 2006 Stewart was the guest artist and celebrity vocal coach on American Idol, leading the remaining seven finalists in singing entries from the Great American Songbook.

she would get more than 10,000 in the toy show alone lol
Go to TKTS (see http://www.tdf.org/TDF_ServicePage.aspx?id=56 ) for ~1/2 price tickets. The one in South Street Seaport is usually less crowded and has the same tickets available. Check out the times the booths are open to see which works better for your schedule.
DO NOT buy tickets from scalpers near the TKTS booths, the tickets are usually fakes.
You can also try the box office the day of the show. Often tickets are returned. Finally, you can wait in line right before the show in the hopes tickets will become available.
I recommend between $100 and $250 per person per day for a Vegas Visit. It is better to have too much money than not enough.
I would wait until I get here. They are running specials for days at a time and you might pick up a great deal that way.
If you are over 18, send me your contact information and I will put you in touch with my associate at HARPO PRODUCTIONS in Chicago.
If you are under 18, have your parents email me!

THAT OLD BITCH WAS FROM BOG LAND CORK
and what third world county do you come from?
Just accidentally gave your comment a thumbs up. I meant to give it a thumbs down. How can you call the toy show retarded? It is a programme for children, a special show which occurs only once a year, and heralds the start of christmas. Naturally, it’s not geared towards idiots like you who are way too mature to get involved in anything so innocent. But don’t ruin it for the little ones!
Ok, I am sorry for calling you an idiot. What you said in your second comment made total sense, and I totally agree. I just got momentarily offended that someone called a childrens show retarded!!!
your so right tis only missin a pig in a blankey……..mutha fucker i want porn on a friday night not a studio full of piss stained geriatrics……hows aboooooot you?
sorry when i said that meant that the host caused it be borderline retarded as he acts like a half wit and cannot talk to a child i watched it yesturday and brian made it all worthwhile as he can properly talk to children and knows how to make them laugh . i think that it was a waste of time with the old presenter but the new one has brought it around (and im just gona let that idiot comment fly as i was not entirely clear with my origional comment) i never intended to ruin it for anyone
Yep, I usually buy them when I get there. Just remember any concession cards (if applicable) and they may be $5 or $10 more if you don't pre-pay, though I'm not completely sure.
Have fun!
Penn and Teller doesn't usually sell out, you shouldn't have a problem. I don't think you'll get them any cheaper once you're here though, unless the rio decides to comp you the tickets for some reason.
Great show though, enjoy!
Oh, the half price tickets thing. You might get lucky and get them for half price IF they have those tickets available. Just because the show isn't sold out that doesn't mean either of those places will have tickets to it. It's great to get your tickets that way if you just want to see a show and don't really care what it is. But, if you really want to see a specific show, you might be better off just buying the tickets to make sure you get what you want.
It really does vary quite a bit, but there aren't usually a lot of the big ticket shows, like Cirque, Lance Burton, Penn & Teller, etc. It tends to be impersonator shows, sometimes a showgirl show or a revue. But the discounts can be pretty good ones, up to about 50%, so it's worth checking out.
Ha nice, making a disgrace of yourself on television!
